King Ludwig II. and his fairy-tale castle welcome you in Füssen.

Today the tour takes you from Füssen to Reutte. From there our transfer brings you across Fern Pass in a comfortable way. From Fernstein Castle you cycle past Nassereith and through the picturesque Gurgl Valley to Imst. A “beery” experience awaits you at Starkenberg Castle with its traditional private brewery.

After a hearty breakfast you cycle from Imst to Landeck. From there, you take the shuttle up to Nauders. Soon afterwards you cross the border to Italy at the Reschen Pass and with it the main Alpine ridge. You cycle downwards and past the Reschen Lake with the sunken church tower of Altgraun, one of the most famous photo motifs in South Tyrol, to one of the tranquil villages around the natural jewel of Malser Haide. Enjoy the first evening in South Tyrol in the pretty little streets of your stage town.

Today, the Adige Cycle Path takes you through the entire Vinschgau Valley and you leave almost 1,000 meters of altitude behind you as you roll comfortably downhill on your bike. For the most part, the Adige Cycle Path follows the course of the young Adige River and takes you through the well-kept villages. Striking mountain ranges compete with equally striking castles and line your route to the spa town of Merano (Meran). Enjoy an evening stroll along the Passer Promenade, surrounded by subtropical plants.

Variety is the order of the day - and the spa town of Merano/Meran offers great opportunities for this: a visit to the gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, a panoramic walk in the historic Dorf Tirol with a magnificent view of the imposing mountains or simply a wellness day in the thermal baths? An excursion by bike along the Passer River to St. Leonhard and a visit to the interactive museum of Tyrolean freedom fighter Andreas Hofer round off the day's cultural program.

There is a lot to marvel at along this route. The famous Schnatterpeckaltar, a Gothic wing altar in the church in Niederlana, the highest church tower in South Tyrol in Terlan and numerous castles and ruins on both valley sides - the idyllically situated Kalterer Lake, on the other hand, invites you to take a dip in the usually pleasantly temperate water. The lovingly maintained villages around the Castelfeder biotope are ideal for relaxing and enjoying the finely processed specialties of this fertile region.

The route continues along the Adige River through orchards and vineyards to Salurn, where the German-speaking part of South Tyrol ends. Trento welcomes you with its beautiful old town, the colossal cathedral and the historic Buonconsiglio Castle.

The last stage leads past Rovereto and Mori to Lake Garda. After a brief ascent up Passo S. Giovanni (150m) you can enjoy a fantastic view while riding downhill to the lake and Riva/Torbole.
