You will spend your nights in carefully chosen accommodations/hotels of the middle-class category, which are typical for the country.
The room reserved for you will generally be ready for occupancy from about 3:00 p.m..
Local tax
Local/visitor’s tax (tourist fees) are included in the base price.
Travel documents
In addition to the hereby digitally transmitted General Cycling Travel Information resp. information for your arrival, we deposit the travel information, the accommodation list and the map material for the stages in printed form as well as prefabricated luggage tags at the hotel of the starting point of your cycling trip.
Please ask for your documents at the hotel reception.
List of accommodations
Please find your BOOKING NAME on your accommodation list. Due to organizational reasons, even in the case of a couple or group booking, only the name of the person booking is stored as the booking name. On the accommodation list is the total number of rooms booked (e.g. 2 double rooms, 1 single room, ...) as well as the intended type of board (B&B, half board) also indicated. Vouchers for check-in at the hotels are not required - please state your booking name at the hotel reception and have the accommodation list ready.
The booking name is also relevant for the organization and implementation of luggage or passenger transport.
Luggage tags/luggage transportation
Please provide EACH piece of luggage to be transported with a luggage tag provided by us. We provide two luggage tags for guests traveling alone - three for guests traveling as a couple.
In the field ‘Total number of luggage’ please enter the total number of pieces of luggage to be transported under your booking name. Please legibly complete the outstanding items on the reverse side.
Per piece of luggage the maximum weight of 20 kg should not be exceeded please. The luggage to be transported please must be ready for collection at the designated place in your accommodation by 9:00 am (information at the reception).
Your luggage will be at your new accommodation by 4:30 p.m. at the latest (subject to delays for unforeseeable reasons).
Notes: Take a change of clothes with you in case your daily stage ends earlier. Please carry necessary medication, important documents as well as valuables in your day luggage.
Due to liability issues we strongly recommend to lock your luggage.
Damage: In case of damage to your luggage during transportation, we kindly ask you to report it to us within 24 hours via Service Phone. Only if we are notified immediately and the luggage is inspected by the luggage carrier, we can grant a refund according to our conditions. INNTOUR is not liable for valuables stored in the luggage. In case of stolen items from the suitcase, forcible opening must be visible.
Rental bikes
Reserved rental bikes are usually provided for you with a name tag at the arrival hotel on the day before the first cycling stage. If we personally hand over your rental bikes on the first bike day between 8:30 am and 9:00 am, we will inform you briefly by phone.
For every two rental bikes or per booking name, you will receive a service kit with which minor repairs can be carried out on site. In case of major damage, we ask you to contact us via Service Phone and have the damage repaired on site in a specialized store. Any resulting costs will be reimbursed to you upon presentation of the invoice.
Note: Make sure to use both breaks evenly to avoid rim overheating, which might cause a flat tyre.
Per bike you will also receive a luggage bag (14l volume) for your day luggage as well as a bike lock with the number combination 6789. We leave keys for e-bikes in the handlebar bag located on the bike.
Please leave the bikes incl. accessories locked at your last accommodation at the end of the trip (we will pick them up). E-bike keys please leave again in the handlebar bag. For a not deposited or lost e-bike key, we charge a processing or recovery fee of EUR 45.00, for a not deposited or lost e-bike charger EUR 165.00.
Bicycle transport
In the course of the included transfers over pass crossings, respective booked pre- or return transfers, we transport your bicycle on our trailers, which are typified for the transport of bicycles. The respective holding devices are adapted to the transport of our rental bicycles. This means that when transporting customer bicycles, which deviate from this standard in terms of frame geometry, tire width, handlebar shape, etc. respective from the bicycles in use with us, slight damage (scratches on the paintwork, etc.) may occur despite careful handling or industry-standard handling. We don’t assume any liability for such damages. The bicycle handlebars usually have to be placed crosswise/transversely during transport; occasionally, pedals may also have to be removed. This will be reversed after transport.
If the number of bicycles to be transported permits, the transport can also take place directly in the vehicle or on the bicycle carrier.
For your own protection, please take out bicycle insurance or include it in your travel insurance policy.
Signposting
Throughout the route the bike path signage is very good. In Tyrol the official green bike path signs with white lettering guide your way and in South Tyrol/Italy brown signs with white lettering. Increasingly, the network of cycle paths in the EUREGIO Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino is also being equipped with culturally informative signs.
In addition to these, signs for the Inn cycle path as well as for the Adige cycle path will show you the way.
The last day of your bike journey
Your bicycle tour ends with an overnight stay and breakfast at the last hotel according to the accommodation list. For information on the procedure of your pre-booked return transfer, please refer to the item 'Return Transfer' listed below.
.
Return Transfer
Your pre-booked return transfer usually departs between 8:00 and 10:30 am. . About the exact time and meeting point we will inform you by phone or via message on your cell phone during the first days of your bike tour. A short-term change of the departure time - e.g. due to heavy traffic or unforeseeable events - will be announced by phone.
For ecological reasons, we recommend a return journey by train or other means of public transport. Transportation to the nearest train station can be arranged/booked through INNTOUR.

Note
Reflective safety vests
In South Tyrol/Italy cyclists must wear a reflective vest outside of provincial areas at morning and night hours (from sunset to sunrise)! In tunnels with road traffic cyclists also must wear reflective vests.
On busy roads, we generally recommend cyclists wearing safety vest.
